Melania Trump, 47, was forced to issue a statement in October after Donald Trump’s first wife Ivana, 68, called herself the ‘real First Lady’.
Ivana caused a stir when she told Fox News that she deserves the title of First Lady, and that she avoids calling her ex Donald, 71, at the White House so as not to make Melania jealous.
Ivana, a former-model from the Czech Republic and mother to Donald’s first three children, said: “I (do not) really want to call him there because Melania is there and I don’t want to cause any kind of jealously or something like that because I’m basically first trump wife. OK? I’m first lady.”
Melania, a former-model from Slovenia, fired back with a statement from her office that said: “Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and the President. She loves living in Washington, DC, and is honoured by her role as first lady of the United States.
“She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books.

“There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex, this is unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise.”
However the feud between the pair does not appear to be over, with Ivana saying Melania “went bananas” over her previous statement.
Speaking on The Ray D’Arcy Show, Ivana said: “I said I’m first Trump lady. And first lady went bananas over it. I have no idea how it sparkled. I have no idea why, but I am definitely first Trump lady.
“I was married to Donald. I have three kids with him, and I have no idea why she resents it.”
She then added: “Who cares.”
Asked by Ray D’Arcy if she thinks Melania is doing a good job, she replied: “I think she’s trying her best.”
Melania is unlikely to be impressed with her latest comments, although no statement has yet come from The White House.
Ivana also shared some insights into Donald’s parenting skills during the interview.
She said: “He was very caring. He loved the kids. But he would not really be a Dad that would take them for a stroll in Central Park or go to soccer with them… He was always on the telephone making the business.
“They were playing with their lego on the floor and he was on the telephone making the deals.”
