Ricciardo’s contract expires next year with Red Bull desperate to keep him on board alongside Max Verstappen.
The Australian has had to sit and watch as Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton battled it out for the championship this season.
The Red Bull driver picked up just one win and nine podiums in 2017, although he has a chance to build on that in the final race of the year later today in Abu Dhabi.
Red Bull chief Christian Horner has been very vocal about wanting to extend Ricciardo’s deal after Verstappen agreed to a new contract during the season.
But the 28-year-old has issued a come and get me plea to both Mercedes and Ferrari if they are serious about wanting him.

“Talking to Red Bull is easier, because I know them already, the other two I guess if they’re interested they’ll need to make the approach,” said Ricciardo.
There were rumours he could make a decision before the start of next season, but has said he is more likely to wait until he had seen how everyone was performing in the opening races of next year.
“I think right now it’s not about the offer, it’s about who’s going to have the best car in 2019 I guess,” he said. “It’s worth me just seeing how the start of the year goes.
“I don’t want to be too clever and think I’ll have every option possible but I think I’ve got enough time on my side to still sit it out a little bit.”
