The week of big Black Friday sales is finally underway with the main event taking place on November 24.
Although there’s still a few days to go until the official sales begin, many retailers have already begun slashing prices.
Amazon has started its deals with huge savings on the company’s Echo speakers and Kindle tablets.
Now Currys has launched its latest set of bargains in its new Black Tag deals event.
The offers kick-off at 9am today with the high street retailer stating this is their biggest deals event across online and in-store.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.
The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
Currys says shoppers will be able to snap up offers on top brands including Samsung, Dyson, Google, Lenovo and LG across large and small household domestic appliances, TVs, computing and smart tech, making the most of the various range of delivery options available.
On top of this, the retailer will be releasing a fresh new set of ‘best-ever deals’ on Black Friday itself, with selected deals going online from midnight, all deals available online from 6am and in-stores from 7am across the country.
Additionally, the UK’s largest electrical retailer will be offering PS4 Pro with Gran Turismo Sport, Call of Duty WWII and Fallout 4 for £299.99, available in black and white, plus 30% off marked price on all PC gaming (excluding steam cards & console headsets).
Speaking about the sales, Steve Ager, Currys PC World Group Commercial Director, said: “We know Black Friday is a key shopping event in the year for our customers, so we’ve worked hard to be able to offer some of our best-ever deals across a range of big-name brands and this kicks off with our Black Tag deals.
“This year we’re expecting there to be more orders made on mobile on Black Friday than desktop/ laptop orders for the first time and we’re gearing up for 43 orders online per minute over our Black Tag event.”
