North Korea terrified the world when the hermit nation refused to drop its ambition to create an arsenal of deadly weapons.
The rogue state’s despot leader Kim Jong-un became entangled in a furious war of words with US President Donald Trump, with both Pyongyang and Washington threatening to attack one another.
With the threat of World War 3 looming, Mr Trump’s Administration has increased its military presence in South Korea and Asia.
Video captured by Channel 9’s 60 Minutes programme shows US troops training within eyeshot as a blatant warning to Kim Jong-un.
The programme’s host Tom Steinfort said: “We hear so much about the prospect of a nuclear attack but it is actually conventional warfare that is much more likely at first.

Alejandro Cao, a Spanish special delegate to North Korea and avid supporter of the Kim regime, has warned the US against launching an attack on Pyongyang.
He said: “If North Korea is attacked nuclearly by the United States the answer will be nuclear as well.
“The United States would destroy the world by launching a nuclear attack on North Korea, we will just answer.
“At the moment you launch ten missiles that are equivalent to 1,000 bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, who will survive in this world? Not Australian, not Spanish, nobody in the United States.
“The world will end as we know it.”
