The Liverpool boss admitted himself into hospital this morning following his return from South Africa.
He was not present for the club’s training session at Melwood today with the club releasing a statement confirming the news.
No detail was given about the nature of Klopp’s issue, but the Reds boss underwent an emergency appendicitis operation back in February 2016.
But it seems this bout of illness isn’t as serious with the Liverpool Echo reporting he has been given the all-clear.
However, the German coach is expected to go back for follow-up appointments in the coming days.

Liverpool face Southampton on Saturday (3pm) and Klopp is expected to be in the dugout for the match.
When he had his operation 21 months ago he missed Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at home with Sunderland.
That left backroom staff Pep Ljinders, Peter Krawietz and Zeljiko Buvac in charge in his absence.
But Liverpool Echo reporter James Pearce confirmed on Twitter that Klopp will take charge of training tomorrow.
He said: “Jurgen Klopp is expected to be back at Melwood to take training tomorrow after leaving hospital earlier today #LFC”
