Donald Trump failed to support the Japanese Prime Minister after Shinzō Abe suffered an embarrassing fall during their game of golf.
The two world leaders took to the golf course after they shared key talks on North Korea and trade.
In the new footage which has emerged, the US President can be seen watching Mr Abe taking his shot after finding himself in the sandpit.
After a successful shot out of the bunker, the Japanese Prime Minister attempts to get back onto the course as Mr Trump walks off towards his ball for his next shot.
Mr Abe, however, suffered an embarrassing moment as he broke into a run to try to get out of the sand.
The Japanese Prime Minister stumbled before he fell backwards straight into the bunker.
Mr Abe rolled over into the sand before he quickly found his feet and a number of officials rushed to his aid.
After shrugging off the unfortunate incident, Mr Abe returned to the golf course to finish the game.
The US President was in Japan on Monday before he travelled to South Korea and China as part of his monumental East Asia tour.
During his time in Japan, Mr Trump caused controversy after he appeared to tip a whole box of fish food into a lake as the Japanese Prime Minister was delicately feeding the koi carp.
Later footage appeared to show Mr Abe throwing his contents of fish food into the lake before the US President followed his Japanese counterpart.
Mr Trump also stunned the Japanese leader after he took a swipe at the country’s economy.
“The Japanese people are thriving, your cities are vibrant and you’ve built one of the world’s most powerful economies,” he said.
“I don’t know if it’s as good as ours, I think not… And we’re going to try and keep it that way but you’ll be second.”
After discussions about the issue of North Korea, Mr Abe told a news conference that Japan backed President Trump’s stance that “all options” were on the table when it came to the rogue state.
Mr Trump is currently in China which is the third country of his Asia tour before he travels to the Philippines and then Vietnam.
