Incredible moment BBC reporter is drowned out by North Korean propaganda on the FRONT LINE

has been ramping up its nuclear testing over the past few months and continues to project aggression to its neighbours in other less physical ways.

The shocking BBC report on the Today programme heard the sounds of the propaganda blaring out towards the South Korean border.

In the background of Justin Webb’s report, the “voice of North Korea” can be heard as the country blast out its messages.

Reporting from South Korea, Webb said: “We have come to a village, it doesn’t look much to write home about actually, just squat concrete buildings and the fields all around us.

“But it is at the edge of the most dangerous unstable border in the world. It is a pretty strange place. This is the border between North and South Korea.

“When the dogs stop barking you can hear in the distance the voice of North Korea.

“That sound is propaganda and it is coming out of giant speakers and it is being blasted at these people all day. Although I have to say it is a pretty minor nuisance compared with the threat that war would bring.”

Webb claimed that South Korea could be bombarded by 500,000 shells in just one hour if North Korea start a war with the south.

He said: “It’s estimated that the North Korean guns that we can’t see from here but are based just a few miles across the border could fire 500,000 shells int he first hour of a conventional war.

“So even just a conventional war would be just devastating for everybody here.”

North Korea have been ramping up their warnings to the US as President travelled to Asia on a 12-day trip to help create a united front against the brutal dictator.

Kim Jong-un’s hermit kingdom threatened “merciless punishment” as President Trump landed on the continent.

Speaking in Tokyo the US President had said: “We are working to counter the dangerous aggressions of the regime in North Korea.

“The regime continues development of its unlawful weapons programs, including its illegal nuclear tests and outrageous launches of ballistic missiles directly over Japanese territory, are a threat to the civilised world and international peace and stability.

“We will not stand for that: the era of strategic patience is over.”
