LeBron James: Cleveland Cavaliers star makes stunning admission after Atlanta Hawks loss

James blew off for 57 points in a tough away win against the Washington Wizards on Friday night.

But the Cavaliers came crashing back down this evening as they fell to the Atlanta Hawks – their sixth loss of the season after just 10 games.

The defeat to the Hawks was yet another notch on their rocky record this season with Atlanta having the worst record in the East.

Atlanta had lost their previous eight matches but held a 16-point lead early on with the Cavaliers coming back to within two.

Cleveland have now lost to the Magic, Nets, Pelicans, Knicks and Pacers.

And while it is still very early in the season, it has already left them a lot to do to close in on the teams at the top of the Eastern Conference.

James and the Cavaliers are all about the postseason and have made the NBA Finals in each of the last three seasons.

But the four-time MVP admitted after the defeat to the Hawks that he is finding it hard to motivate this current Cavaliers roster.

“Yes, so far. We’ve just got to try and find a way,” James said.

“The guys in and out and different line-ups here and things of that nature but the energy and effort, from everybody…

“We don’t want to single anyone out but everyone has to step up their play in order for us to be as good as we would like to be.

“The effort was pretty bad.

“You turn a corner but you can’t fix it in one game.

“This is something that’s been going on for a while so we’ve just got to try and figure it out but tonight we fell into that again.”
