Pokemon Go news: Niantic reveals BRAND NEW events for November – but it’s bad news for UK

developer Niantic has announced a selection of brand new events for November.

After the success of Pokemon Go Safari festivals in Europe, Niantic has confirmed plans to host more events this month.

But it’s bad news for UK players, because the only events to be announced are for South Korea and Japan.

“Over the past few months, we’ve hosted seven different Pokemon GO Safari Zone events at Unibail-Rodamco shopping centres located throughout Europe,” reads a Niantic post.

“In total, over 20,000 Trainers from all around the world came together at these shopping centres to celebrate their love for Pokemon GO and develop new friendships.

“It was incredible to witness so many Trainers work together to catch over six million Pokemon at these shopping centres.”

Niantic is planning to host a Pokemon Go Festa in South Korea from November 4 to November 12.

Fans can expect more Pokemon to appear in the country for the duration of the event.

And from November 10 to November 12, Trainers in Seoul, South Korea will be able to battle Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Lugia in Raid Battles.

Meanwhile, Trainers at Lotte World Mall will have a unique opportunity to encounter Mr. Mime and Unown.

This will be followed by another event at the Tottori Sand Dunes in Japan.

“We’re excited to announce that the prefecture of Tottori in Japan is hosting a Pokemon GO Safari Zone event in the famous Tottori Sand Dunes,” Niantic continues.

“From Friday, November 24, through Sunday, November 26, Trainers of all ages will be able to catch a wide variety of Pokemon, including some rarely seen throughout the country, while exploring the largest sand dunes in Japan.”
