Pokemon Go news has been rightly dominated by the Halloween event and the new Shiny Pocket Monsters included.
However, this will soon come to an end and fans will be wanting to know what comes next.
And based on Niantic’s latest news updates, it appears Pokemon Go EX Raids will be the next thing to be included in a major update.
A major issues that’s currently affecting them is that only certain players appear to be getting invites.
It appears that one of the big issues is that a lot of the EX Raids currently available to complete are only being held at sponsored Gyms.
While this isn’t the case for everyone, it appears the new system is in dire need of expansion.
It was recently revealed that Niantic are planning to change how EX Raids are launched.
The development team confirmed that after a lengthy playtest period, the studio were looking to improve on invites currently work.
EX Raid Battles are similar to existing Raid Battles, differing in the fact that Trainers need to be invited to join an Exclusive Raid Battle.
To receive an invite to participate in an Exclusive Raid Battle, Trainers must have successfully completed a raid recently, by defeating the Raid Boss, at the Gym where it will be taking place.
The invitations will include advance warning of when the Exclusive Raid will take place, which has recently been cut down to around 24hrs.
However, it appears that Niantic are ready to tinker with the original format for EX Raids again.
“Trainers, thank you for your feedback on EX Raid Battles,” the official Pokemon Go Twitter account revealed.
“We’re working to improve the invitation system based on what we heard from you.”
Just how this will be done is anyone’s guess but it’s possible that a new beta build could be made ready for wider use by the end of the Pokemon Go Halloween event.
The Halloween celebration started on October 20 and is scheduled to finish on November 2.
This means that Trainers in the UK have until Thursday, at around 9pm, GMT, to grab as many Shiny catch-chances as possible.
Currently, Shuppet and Banette are available in the wild, sporting new colour schemes.
Both are available at a higher spawn rate during Pokemon Go Halloween, although this will reset following the finale of the event.
