Mercedes X-Class 2018 price, specs and UK release date have been revealed ahead of the car launching in Britain.
It will go on sale in January 2018 and is available to order now with prices starting at £27,310.
Powering the range is a choice of two engines – the X 220 d 4MATIC 4-cylinder 2.3l diesel, offering 163hp (120kW), or the X 250 d 4MATIC 4-cylinder 2.3l diesel, offering 190hp (140kW).
The X220d 4MATIC is available in both PURE or PROGRESSIVE trim with a six-speed speed manual while the X250d 4MATIC is avail be with all three model lines with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
All versions of the car are double cab and come with 4MATIC all-wheel drive and low-range section mode, double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension as standard.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
Three trim levels are on offer when the car launches – PURE, PROGRESSIVE and POWER.
Each level offers differing levels of comfort and style features at a premium.
Standard safety features across the range inlcude driver and passenger airbags and thorax bags, window bags on the A-D pillar, driver knee bag, Reversing Camera, Anti-theft protection package, ECO start/stop function and ESP (Trailer Stability Assist can be added as an option).
A range of driver assistance systems also come as standard including: Active Brake Assist (radar-based autonomous emergency braking), Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Assist and Hill Start Assist.
Inside the car is an Audi 20 CD infotainment system with a seven-inch HD screen, rotary controller with touchpad, Bluetooth audio and media interface, DAB digital radio and Garmin MAP PILOT navigation.
A number of different packages are also on offer including the Style Packages, Winter Package Package and Parking Package, to name a few.
