EA DOWN – FIFA 18, Battlefield 1 and Madden server latest as HUNDREDS hit by issues

EA is down for hundreds of players right now, with FIFA 18 and Battlefield 1 fans among those hit by the server issues today.

Independent website Down Detector has received reports from hundreds of PS4, Xbox One and PC gamers hit by the EA server issue.

According to the outage tracker, around 70 per cent of those affected by the EA server issues are FIFA 18 fans and FUT players.

Some 23 per cent are Battlefield 1 players and the issues are affected gamers in the UK, US and parts of Europe.

Down Detector is an independent website that tracks social mentions around particular topics to detect outages across the globe.

The outage tracker has regsitered hundreds EA down reports, with the issues peaking at 980 reported problems.

Express.co.uk has contacted EA for comment on the reported server issues gamers have been experiencing today.

FIFA 18 and Battlefield 1 players were among those who took to social media site Twitter to report issues with the EA server today.

One user tweeted: “EA servers down…. again.  #Madden18 #FIFA18”.

While another posted: “@EASPORTSFIFA why cant i connect to the ea servers on fifa18 ?! Are servers down?”

And one wrote: “I’m off today and the EA servers are down. #Murphyslaw #madden17”.

The latest server outage comes after hundreds of gamers in August were left unable to play EA games online.

During the outage fans were left struggling to connect to games like Battlefield 1 and FIFA 17.

The issue is mainly affecting users in the UK, Europe and and parts of America, according to independent website Down Detector.

The EA server issues came as Xbox Live users also reported problems with the Xbox One and Xbox 360 online gaming service.

The Xbox Live status website said services were working fine today, apart from issues with a few Xbox 360 apps.

However, Down Detector registered reports from users experiencing issues with online gaming and logging in.

EA fans took to social networking site Twitter to report issues after struggling to play online.

One fan tweeted: “Not able to connect to EA server via Xbox live (BF1) Servers down?”

While another added: “Ergh! EA Servers are down!”

And one posted: “Xbox one servers are down, thx EA”.
