How to stream Stranger Things season 2
Stranger Things season 2 will be available exclusively to Netflix customers. But a clever trick will let you watch it for free.
New Netflix customers can sign up for a free one-month trial which will give them access to both series of Stranger Things, as well as other Netflix originals such as Black Mirror, House of Cards and The Crown.
Simply cancel before the free month ends, or pay a small fee to continue enjoying Netflix content.
The basic plan – which allows you to watch one SD stream at a time, costs £5.99 per month.
The standard plan offers HD streaming on two screens at a time for £7.99, with the premium plan unlocking Ultra HD content on four screens at a time for £9.99.

When is Stranger Things season 2 out?

What will happen in Stranger Things season 2?
A year after the events of the first season, we return to Hawkins, Indiana where Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) is struggling to adjust to life after the Upside Down.
While hanging out with his friends Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) at a video games arcade, he finds himself thrown back to the hellish parallel dimension, and spots a spider-like “Shadow Monster” looming over Hawkins.
Mum Joyce (Winona Ryder) and brother Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) are desperate to help Will, but friends Dustin and Lucas are somewhat distracted by the arrival of a new girl, Max (Sadie Sink).
“Dustin and Lucas end up kind of falling in love with her,” Finn told People.
“And she sort of gets into the group, and I’m not really happy with it because I’m kind of envious because they’re in love and I’m not.”
Elsewhere, Eleven is alive but trapped in the Upside Down.
A teaser clip has revealed that she managed to break through to Hawkins Middle School using her telekinetic powers, but what happens next is a mystery.

Police Chief Jim Hopper is trying singlehandedly to cover up everything that happened last year in order to protect Joyce and the kids.
“It kind of falls on Hopper to be the voice of authority to say, ‘This did happen and this didn’t happen,’” actor David Harbour told Entertainment Weekly.
“He’s struggling with the compromise that takes him to, having to lie and cover things up.”
A slate of new characters join the cast, including Goonies star Sean Astin as Bob, a new love interest for Joyce.
Dacre Montgomery plays Max’s older step-brother Billy, the “human villain” of the season.
Paul Reiser joins as Dr Owens, a seemingly-friendly man who is now running the Department of Energy lab.
Brett Gelman stars as Murray Bauman, “a disgraced journalist turned conspiracy theorist who is investigating a cold case in Hawkins”.
Danish actress Linnea Berthelsen has been cast as Roman, described by Netflix as “an emotionally damaged, magnetic young woman who suffered a great loss as a child. Although she does not live in Hawkins, she is mysteriously connected to the supernatural events at the lab.”
