Everton fans go into meltdown as Ryan Giggs admits interest in replacing Ronald Koeman

After their 5-2 thrashing by Arsenal yesterday, the Everton board wasted no time in showing Ronald Koeman the door.

The Dutchman became the third Premier League manager to be axed this season following the dismissals of Frank de Boer and Craig Shakespeare.

And Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has now spoken of his interest in the vacant manager’s jobs at Everton and Leicester City.

“I think you look at those two teams, Leicester being champions two seasons ago, Everton being a fantastic club with a fantastic history, for me these are clubs I would be interested in,” Giggs told Sky Sports.

However, the Everton faithful were less than impressed with Giggs throwing his name into the hat.
