Pogba has missed United’s last seven games since picking up a hamstring injury in their Champions League clash against Basel last month.
But United have dropped just two points in Pogba’s absence in last week’s 0-0 draw against Liverpool.
Pogba has kept fans up to date with his recovery on social media and posted an Instagram video on Thursday showing him stepping up his rehabilitation.
However, Mourinho insists he has no idea when he expects to be able to call upon the France international again.
“I have no idea,” said Mourinho. “If you ask me ‘do you think he can play in the next match in the Premier League against Tottenham’, I don’t know.
