Rabbi Matityahu Glazerson has stated that the addition to our solar system was sent as a warning by God as a signal for people to repent.
He said: “This is a message to the entire world.
“Nibiru is to warn the world to repent.
“Not only Israel but also the world has to repent.”
Mr Glazerson claims he has examined codes in the Old Testament and stated the words “star Nibiru” appear next to “Messiah”.

Previous theories have surfaced of a ninth planet stating that Nibiru could cause the world to end.
However, these ideas have been debunked by NASA.
It stated: “If a planet is there, it’s extremely distant and will stay that way.
“With no chance, in case you are wondering, of ever colliding with Earth, or bringing ‘days of darkness’.”
Despite debunking rumours signalling the end of the world, the space institute has admitted that it is incredibly likely that there is a ninth planet in our solar system.
NASA added: “The signs so far are indirect, mainly its gravitational footprints, but that adds up to a compelling case nonetheless.
“One of its most dedicated trackers, in fact, says it is now harder to imagine our solar system without a Planet Nine than with one.”
Konstantin Batygin, a planetary astrophysicist at Caltech in Pasadena, California, discussed Planet Nine with the space body.
He claimed: “There are now five different lines of observational evidence pointing to the existence of Planet Nine.
“If you were to remove this explanation and imagine Planet Nine does not exist, then you generate more problems than you solve.
“All of a sudden, you have five different puzzles, and you must come up with five different theories to explain them.”
