A cheating partner is never nice news, particularly if you thought the relationship was going well and had no reason to suspect their infidelity.
You may question whether they were secretly unhappy, but Related counsellor Martin Burrow’s has revealed that people happy in relationships are also capable of having affairs.
He told Huffington Post: “Even people in generally good quality relationships can be tempted to cheat.”
Sarah Ryan, director of matchmaking agency Simantov Interntional, who has done extensive research in this area, also added: “If someone has the inclination to go astray, no matter how happy a home they live in, they will do so.”

Wronged partners often suspect their loved one is cheating on them but can’t be sure.
Suspicious husbands and wives may try to go through their other half’s phone and search for clues.
Or they might try questioning their partner, who is likely to deny any wrongdoing.
