The acclaimed hitmaker, who is building up towards the release of her latest album The Architect next month, told OfficialCharts.com that she even nearly wore a necklace saying “f**k the Tories” to the ceremony.
“I love that [Theresa May] is a woman [in power] but I don’t like her party,” she explained.
“I don’t like women fighting against women in general… I’ll just never be a Tory.”
On who she would like to replace May in Number 10, she named current Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. “I want him to be Prime Minister of the whole country,” she enthused.
Faith’s new record is said to have shunned love songs altogether, in favour of tracks that talk about more society-based issues.
