Destiny 2 Prestige Raid update: Changes, rewards and weapons glitch REVEALED

is live on PS4 and Xbox One – and one team managed to complete it in just over an hour.

Clan Redeem – which is made up of Sweatcicle, Modern Tryhard, Ehroaar, I Indica I, Senior Snubby and Gladd – were the first team to complete the 2 Prestige Raid.

Bungie congratulated the Clan on Twitter, saying: “Congratulations to Clan Redeem for being World First to complete the Prestige Raid… by a margin of only four minutes! Good Game.”

However, the victory wasn’t completely without controversy, because Team Redeem is said to have used a devastating “coil glitch” to replenishes Power Ammo.

The weapons glitch isn’t the same exploit that delayed the launch of the Prestige Raid, so the record is expected to stand.

According to Gamespot, rewards include a weapon ornament for the Legend of Acrius shotgun and a blue emblem.

Shacknews has a full list of the changes, which include a tweak to the revive system.

Players can still revive one teammate using a token, but you lose your revive token if you die during a section.

Players can also expect tougher enemies, as well as additional Royal Beasts in the Pleasure Gardens.

In the battle with Calus, players who kill a Psion in the throne room will swap places with a teammate in the purple skull world.

Bungie is currently working on a fix to the original exploit that delayed the start of the Prestige Raid.

It could be implemented as part of a maintenance period taking place later today.

The servers will be taken offline as Bungie releases update 1.0.3.5, which will hopefully include a fix.

“Destiny 2 services will undergo maintenance on Thursday, October 19, 2017,” the post reads. “During this maintenance, Destiny 2 players will be prompted to accept Update 1.0.3.5.”

Destiny 2 is out now on PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version has an October 24 release date.
