The Marvel Cinematic Universe all kicked off almost a decade ago with Downey Jr’s Iron Man.
The film also starred Bridges as the franchise’s first villain, Obadiah Stane who became Iron Monger.
Now Marvel president Feige has revealed he almost wasn’t the main villain, but was supposed to be secondary to the Mandarin – a character who was saved for Iron Man 3 in the end.
Not only that, but Obadiah was lined up to return in the sequel.
He revealed: “Jon [Favreau, Iron Man’s director] dealt with it so well.
“It freaked me out. I was very anxious. I like to be prepared. I like to know my lines, man, that’s my school. Very prepared.”
