Avengers Infinity War: Mark Ruffalo BLASTS Tom Holland’s Spider-Man

With Thor Ragnarok about to hit cinemas and the new Black Panther trailer roaring into view, the marvellous Marvel stars have been all over social media.

Not all their posts have been entirely focussed on the movies, themselves, however.

Things started to get a little personal earlier this week when Holland took a cheeky shot at Ruffalo.

He should have known better than to take on the not-so-jolly green giant, who finally got his own back today.

Holland has been notorious for taking home top secret Marvel scripts (he had to burn it) and so took the chance to gloat when Ruffalo accidentally live streamed the opening scenes of Thor Ragnarok from the premiere.

Holland tweeted: “Now that @MarkRuffalo is officially the worst Avengers secret keeper… can I get my script?” Previously he had also posted: “I don’t know why Marvel won’t truust me with secrets.”

The Hulk actor blasted back today and hit Holland where it hurts.

A fan with the handle @cubanholland had responded to Holland’s plea for an Avengers 4 script with the message: “No, you can’t. At least he actually is an Avenger.”

This refers to Spider-Man’s demotion during Homecoming and then his decision at the end of the movie to turn down Tony Stark’s invitation to rejoin the superhero team.

Ruffalo was quick to take advantage of the support and tweeted publically: “What cubanholland said.”

More than anything, this sums up the huge camaraderie across the sprawling Marvel Cinematic Universe cast.

Public appearances and social media posts are carried out with the same infectious enthusiasm and cheerfulness that underpins the movies themselves.
