Pokemon Go NEWS: Halloween event latest, Legendary Raid denial, Gen 3 update

Pokemon Go developer Niantic is expected to reveal more about the Halloween 2017 event soon.

A recent Pokemon Company statement suggested that spooky new gen 3 Pokemon would join the app at Halloween.

“The Halloween season is a special time in Pokemon Go,” the post reads.

“Plenty of good stuff is coming to the game later this October, and we can’t wait to get out and about to see what sort of excitement we can scare up while catching new Pokemon to fill out our Pokedex.”

As previously reported, Gen 3 source code was recently discovered by Pokemon Go dataminers, which must surely mean that new Pokemon are on their way.

developer Niantic is unlikely to add Oh-Ho to the game anytime soon.

A leaked Niantic email supposedly confirmed plans to add Oh-Ho to the game as part of an imminent Legendary Raid.

Unfortunately, the email wasn’t actually sent out by Niantic, so you’ll have to wait a little longer for Oh-Ho Raids.

That’s according to a Niantic employee, who told Reddit users: “I reviewed our support ticketing system and I can confirm that our support team did not send this erroneous message.”

It’s been speculated that a new Legendary Raid will launch alongside Gen 3 Pokemon and the upcoming Halloween event.

Pokemon Go fans have uncovered new secrets in the latest update for the game on Android and iPhone.

Having already discovered Gen 3 Pokemon in the game files, fans have found more evidence that suggests that Niantic is planning to introduce new Monsters soon.

The latest Pokemon Go news has come directly from the new update released by Niantic, which has now been datamined by players.

Reports from leading dataminers have confirmed that nearly everything is in place to launch a big Pokemon Go Gen 3 update in the near future.

The Pokemon Go files now include all the forms needed for Gen 3, a big move forward for those hoping for some kind of launch around the upcoming Halloween event.

The only thing missing appears to be sound files for the Gen 3, which will be needed to replicate their in-game cries.
