BREAKING: Volcano on Ring of Fire erupts after hundreds of earthquakes

Shinmoedake volcano’s eruption is believed to have been sparked after the Japanese Meteorological Agency observed 100 volcanic earthquakes per day since the beginning of October.

The agency had raised the eruption warning earlier this month.
