F1 Japanese GP live stream – How to watch Formula One Grand Prix online from Suzuka

F1 heads to Japan today for the famous race from Suzuka.

And it looks set to be another sensational battle with British F1 star Lewis Hamilton on pole and title rival Sebastian Vettel in second.

Hamilton leads Vettel in the F1 2017 championship race by 34 points with just five races to go.

Japan has been home to some of the most iconic championship deciding moments in F1 history.

Senna and Prost famously crashed at the first corner back in 1990 and the pair collided also in 1989.

Both sensational collisions ended up having a huge impact on whose hands the title ended up that season.

While the 1976 Japanese GP in Fuji had a race for the ages, in which Niki Lauda retired on a heavily rainy track after his terrifying brush with death earlier that season.

James Hunt ended up fighting through the field on a treacherous wet circuit to clinch the title.

With Vettel and Hamilton on the front row today, and the German having a lot of catching up to do in the title race, sparks and surely set to fly.

Hamilton was in electric form on Saturday, securing his 10th pole from 16 races this season.

It also marked the Brit’s first ever pole at Suzuka.

Speaking after qualifying, Hamilton said: “It has taken me forever to get this pole.

“That’s a complete list of all the tracks. I have a pole on all the circuits now, which is kind of crazy to think.

“I have been here a long time, I don’t know how many more I have left in me but this has been a strong season in terms of qualifying – all my laps were bang on the mark.

“I didn’t miss a single one.”
