SNES Classic Mini UPDATE – Argos gives fans great news about stock for sold out console

The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition has been difficult to buy, with stock on UK websites only available on the console’s launch day.

Since then SNES Classic Mini fans in the UK have had to turn to international websites if they wanted to pick up a pint-sized console.

Amazon France, Amazon Germany and Amazon Spain seem to be the best stocked online retailers for the SNES Classic Mini in Europe recently.

The trio have opened orders for the SNES Classic Mini numerous times since its launch.

Earlier today amazon.fr opened orders for the SNES Classic Mini, but stock sold out within minutes.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

In comparison, Argos, John Lewis and Asda Direct have been the only British-based websites to take SNES Classic Mini orders online since launch.

However, these orders were ONLY available on the console’s release day.

But Argos have given a reassuring SNES Classic Mini update to fans hoping to get their hands on the pint-sized console.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, an Argos spokesperson said: “Customers who are unable to secure a console at launch should keep checking our website as we are expecting more stock this side of Christmas.”

This will be music to fans ears that more SNES Classic Mini is set to drop at UK retailers before the Christmas rush.

And hopefully the next lot of stock at Argos will last a considerable amount of time, like the launch day allocation.

According to Stock Informer, SNES Classic Mini stock became available on the Argos website around 2am BST.

It was still available to reserve and pick-up at an Argos store until around 9am BST on the SNES Classic Mini launch day.

The SNES Classic Mini is still listed on the Argos website and priced at £79.99, but you can’t sign up for stock alerts on the console’s product page.

On it Argos says: “Sorry, this item is just too popular! But we may get more stock, so do check back at a later date.”

While you wait for more SNES Classic Mini stock to become available online, it’s worth checking at retailers in your local area.

A number of SNES Classic Mini fans have taken to Twitter in the past few days to say they picked up a console at their local Sainsbury’s.

One fan tweeted: “Just been to Sainsbury’s in Letchworth. They have three SNES Mini left in stock.”

And another said: “Thanks to @sainsburys for the heads up! Managed to get my Nintendo Snes YAYYY!”

The SNES Classic Mini comes loaded with 21 iconic 16-Bit games loaded onto it that are playable in HD.

It’s also bundled with two controllers, so you can straight out of the box enjoy multiplayer gaming.

The SNES Classic Mini costs either £69.99 or £79.99 in the UK, and $79.99 in the US.

The UK version also comes with a few games never before released in Britain – these games are Earthbound, Super Mario RPG and Final Fantasy III (which is actually Final Fantasy 6).

The SNES Classic Mini also comes loaded on it the never-before-released Star Fox 2.
