The sequel to the 1980s classic has won huge critical acclaim, and de Armas revealed that she barely blinked an eye when director Denis Villeneuve informed her that there would be nudity involved.
Speaking of her audition, she told James Corden: “I was very nervous but Denis is such a great director, he’s so grateful for anything you do. When I auditioned, I could tell he was very happy with it.
“He was like, ‘we need to talk about something so we know if we can move forward to third audition.
“‘There are two things to talk about: firstly, there is nudity in the movie. Second, I might need you to put your hair darker and cut it.’”
She added: “And everyone got very serious and intense and I was thinking about it for a while.

Her next audition, she said, was with Ryan Gosling.
“I was like, ‘I’m fine with whatever you wanna do, I just wanna be in this movie,’” she quipped.
The film also stars Harrison Ford, Jared Leto and Robin Wright.
