Royal watchers have seen this as a sign the couple are on track to get engaged, with an announcement imminent.
And there is another clue the couple may get engaged – the introduction of Prince Harry to Meghan’s parents.
Her mother joined them for a trip to the Invictus Games last weekend, whilst an insider has claimed Prince Harry met her father in private to ask for his girlfriend’s hand in marriage.

Thomas W. Markle, 72, is the person who introduced her to life on a film set and sparked her love of acting.
This is because of his job as a cinematographer, and Meghan would accompany her father on set while he worked on TV shows like Married with Children and General Hospital.
On her blog, Meghan wrote: “There I was, behind the scenes of a glossy soap opera and a TV sitcom, surrounded by famous actors and their glam teams, multi-million dollar budgets, and crew lunches that always included filet mignon and enough sweets to make you think you were at Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.”
Thomas has won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Design Excellence For A Daytime Drama Series.
Doria and Thomas separated when Meghan was a child, but she has written about their romance on her blog, and said: “I like to think he was drawn to her sweet eyes and her Afro, plus their shared love of antiques. Whatever it was, they married and had me.”
