The Florida Governor demanded the people of Florida to “have a disaster kit ready today” as tropical storm Nate sets to smash into the state over the weekend.
The governor declared a state of emergency in Florida as the deadly tropical storm approaches the USA.
Hurricane Nate has so far killed 22 in Central America, with the death toll expected to rise as it approaches the USA.
Speaking at a press conference, Governor Rick Scott said: “Just remember, we’re still in the middle of hurricane season, we’ve got another month, almost two months left of hurricane season.
“It’s hard to image another storm right now. We all have to be prepared.

Forecasters warn that it could take aim at the central US Gulf Coast, as a hurricane this weekend.
The people of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida have been told to get prepared for the arrival of Nate this weekend.
The core, which contains the probable path of the eye of the storm, shows that Nate could hit anywhere between Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle.
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) warned: “Nate is forecast to reach the northern Gulf Coast this weekend as a hurricane, and the threat of direct impacts from wind, storm surge, and heavy rainfall is increasing.
“Residents along the Gulf Coast from Louisiana through the Florida Panhandle should monitor the progress of Nate and heed any advice given by local officials.”
