World War 3: North Korea ‘to unleash nuclear strikes on US’ after threatening bomber flyby

Kim Jong-un accused the US of provoking North Korea after US bombers flew near the countries coast in a show of strength.

A statement from Pyongyang propaganda mouthpiece KCNA said: “The US imperialist war maniacs should remember that they will only meet a barrage of nuclear strikes if they continue to behave mischievously sending such strategic bombers in face of North Korea’s revolutionary armed forces fully ready to open fire of retaliation.”

North Korea promised to “win a final victory” over the “trigger happy“ US in the latest provocation.

In the chilling statement Pyongyang said: “Whenever the enemy struggles desperately, the Korean army and people will surely win a final victory in the spirit of self-reliance and self-development, closely rallied behind their leader.

“History will see how the Korean army and people punish the US imperialists in the standoff.”

The new threats come after US President Donald Trump appeared to abandon the possibility of a diplomatic solution early this week.

President Donald Trump later tweeted that Mr Tillerson was “wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man”.

Triggering World War 3 fears, Trump said: “Save your energy Rex, we’ll do what has to be done.”

It follows reports that the US has teamed up with Japan to take down Kim’s regime.

Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe today declared dialogue with Pyongyang was “meaningless”.

It comes as Pyongyang issued a chilling warning to Japan to stop putting pressure on Kim Jong-Un to relinquish his nuclear programme, saying it is a “suicidal deed” that will bring “nuclear clouds” to the country.

A commentary released by North Korean Central News Agency accused Abe of pressuring North Korea purely for political gain.

It said: “Japan’s such rackets inciting the tension of the Korean peninsula is a suicidal deed that will bring nuclear clouds to the Japanese archipelago.

“No one knows when the touch-and-go situation will lead to a nuclear war, but if so, the Japanese archipelago will be engulfed in flames in a moment. This is too self-evident.”

In recent weeks North Korea has launched two missiles over Japan and conducted its sixth nuclear test.
