Las Vegas shooting: DEVASTATING aftermath captured in HARROWING aerial video

The footage from the Las Vegas shooting scene shows the devastating nature of Paddock’s assault on the Route 91 country music festival, which is the deadliest mass shooting in US history.

Las Vegas shooter Paddock had spent more than 20 years plotting and hoarding guns for his devastating attack on innocent people in Las Vegas, the police have revealed.

Aerial footage captured in the wake of the shooting, late last Sunday, shows the left remains of the music festival after thousands were forced to flee after the gunman unleashed a hail of bullets on the venue from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay casino and hotel.

Camp chairs and other belongings were left scattered across the floor after people desperately tried to escape the Las Vegas shooting.

The video also shows the window in which Paddock used to launch his attack from some 400 yards from his victims below at the Route 91 event.

Sixty people have now died from Paddock’s devastating attack, with some 489 people also injured.

Police have confirmed that 317 of the 489 people injured in the Las Vegas shooting have now been discharged from hospital.

Officials have also revealed they believe Paddock may not have acted alone in the attack.

Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said: “At face value, he had to have had some help at some point and we want to ensure that’s the answer.

“Maybe he was a superhuman who figured this out all on his own but it would be hard for me to believe that.”

Police confirmed the Las Vegas shooter has “meticulously” planned his strike on the country music festival from his vantage points in the Mandalay Bay hotel.

Officers, who are investigating the double life of the cold-blooded killer, believe he spent decades acquiring weapons and living a “secret life”.

Initially, it was believed Paddock’s former girlfriend Marilou Danley was involved but she has since said she had no idea he was going to carry out the deadliest mass shooting in US history.

Having arrived in the US yesterday, she spoke to FBI officials about the attack.

Officials had been looking to speak to the 62-year-old to establish the Las Vegas shooter’s motives and why he had wired his partner £75,500 ($100,000) before the attack.

Speaking through a lawyer, Ms Danley said: “I loved him and hoped for a quiet future together with him.

“He never said anything to me or took any action that I was aware of, that I understood in any way to be a warning that something horrible like this was going to happen.

“A little more than two weeks ago, Stephen said he found a cheap ticket for me to the Philippines and that he wanted me to take a trip to see my family.

“Like all Filipinos abroad, I was excited to go home and see family and friends.

“While there, he wired me money, which he said was for me to buy a house for me and my family.”
