Arsenal star Sanchez is the latest world-class star to be linked with a move to the Parc des Princes.
The Chile international came close to departing for Manchester City on deadline day, only for the Gunners’ failure to land Thomas Lemar to result in him staying put.
Sanchez’s contract at Arsenal expires next summer and the club are resigned to losing him.
And French newspaper Le Parisien say Neymar included Sanchez in a list of demands made to PSG when negotiating his £200million move away from Barcelona.
PSG seems to be the place to be these days.
The Ligue 1 giants’ capture of Neymar was also followed up by a stunning deal for Kylian Mbappe, who took Ligue 1 by storm with Monaco last season.
And Le Parisien say the Brazilian wants fellow South American Sanchez to make the move to the French capital.
It is said that PSG are debating whether to bow to his demands given the early teething problems with Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguay international rowed with Neymar over set-piece duties last month, something that supposedly led to the Brazilian to call for the striker to be sold.
And they may be about to grant him his wish.
Meanwhile, pundit Steve Nicol thinks Arsenal would be mediocre without Sanchez and fellow contract rebel Mesut Ozil.
“If Arsenal want to be a mediocre, run-of-the-mill team, then they don’t play the Ozils and the Sanchezs,” Nicol said on ESPN FC.
“The point is, Arsene Wenger wants to play football and if you’re going to have a team that wants to play football, you have to play Ozil.
“If you don’t play Ozil and you don’t play Alexis Sanchez, you’re basically turning yourself into a run-of-the-mill team.”
