Las Vegas shooting: WATCH Miley Cyrus and Adam Sandler perform moving tribute to 59 dead

Appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s talkshow, Cyrus – who is in residence all week – teamed up with actor and musician Sandler for a heartfelt performance.

With Cyrus on guitar and the pair of them on vocals, they covered Dido’s No Freedom.

Fallon introduced them by saying: “This morning we woke up to the news of another senseless shooting. This time in Las Vegas.

“In the face of tragedies and acts of terror, we need to remember that good still exists in this world.

“We’re here to entertain you tonight, and that’s what we’re going to do. 

“Ladies and gentlemen, with help from Adam Sander: Miley Cyrus.”

Cyrus tweeted afterwards: “No Love without Freedom …No Freedom without LOVE. Thank you so much to Adam Sandler for joining me tonight in remembering all those lost.

“and singing lyrics that I believe are so important at this time …. #LandOfTheFree #StopTheViolence #GivePeaceAChance @fallontonight.”

She had also performed her song The Climb, in dedication to those lost and injured.

59 people died when a gunman fired into crowds in Las Vegas late on Sunday night, with more than 500 more injured.

The 64-year-old shooter killed himself, with President Donald Trump branding his act “pure evil”.
