Las Vegas shooting: Gunman’s view of victims from 32nd floor of killer hotel room REVEALED

The 64-year-old gunman launched a brutal machine gun attack from high up in the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino on Sunday night.

At least 50 people were killed down below and more than 400 were injured last night at the Route 91 country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip.

Now the bird’s-eye view Paddock had of the city has been revealed.

Trip Advisor reviews make it clear one of the hotel’s main selling points is the panoramic views.

And visitor photos show just how spectacular those views are – with rooms offering a clear sight of the famous Las Vegas strip.

One review of a room on the 32nd floor of Mandalay read: “We could see down the entire strip.”

Another review added: “We lucked out with an outstanding view (you get what you get…and we got lucky with a view of the strip).”

Some 22,000 people were in the crowd when Paddock opened fire, sparking a panic in which some people trampled on others in their desperate bid to escape.

Gunfire rained down on fleeing festival goers for several minutes before Paddock, a Las Vegas resident, was found dead after killing himself.

At least 10 guns were found after police stormed the suspect’s hotel room and officers have also executed a search warrant at his house.

The gunman is believed to have booked the room in advance – as the hotel was sold out that night.

Paddock travelled from his home in the nearby Nevada city of Mesquite – just an hour’s drive to Las Vegas.

He then stored around 10 weapons in his room including machine guns.

Two senior US officials said on Monday that there was no evidence that the shooter was tied to any international militant group and one said there was reason to believe that the attacker had a history of psychological problems.

The FBI later said in a statement they believed the gunman had “no connection” to any intrnational terror group.

Police added they had no information about Paddock’s motive, that he had no criminal record and was not believed to be connected to any militant group.

It was initially thought Paddock had been working with an accomplice named as Marilou Danley, a 62-year-old Australian woman who was identified as Paddock’s room-mate.

But police later said she was out of the country at the time of the attack and cleared her of any involvement.
