While the franchise is based on Robert Ludlum’s novels about Jason Bourne, it now turns out the spy was almost killed off at the conclusion of the very first movie, The Bourne Identity.
The movie’s director Doug Liman, revealed the shocking news in a recent interview, while promoting his new film, American Made.
