The pair pleaded not guilty to the murder charges pressed against them at a Malaysian court on Monday.
Indonesian Siti Aisyah and Vietnamese Doan Thi Huong are charged with the murder of Kim Jong-nam by covering his face with the chemical poison VX at Kuala Lumpur’s international airport on 13 February.
If convicted, the pair will face a death penalty.
Both women nodded when their charges were read aloud at the Shah Alam court that sits outside Kuala Lumpur.
