Bomb threat after Las Vegas shooting – Luxor hotel in lockdown

Las Vegas is in chaos this morning after at least one gunman opened fire at a country music festival at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, killing at least two. 

Automatic gunfire was recorded in a number of shocking videos with police confirming multiple people had been hurt. 

Now social media users listening in on police scanners are reporting a bomb threat at the nearby Luxor Hotel. 

A black Audi had been spotted with “wires sticking out”, according to those listening to the scanner. 

The SUV is believed to be located in the hotel car park, with people urged to avoid the area.

A bomb squad has been called to the hotel, according to those listening in on police channels. 

At least two people have been confirmed dead in the shooting. Many more are injured. 

Multiple hotels in the area have been locked-down as police hunt an active shooter.

Officers are believed to be desperately searching different hotels in the hunt for the killer, who may have opened fire from upper floor. 

Police are urging people to avoid the Las Vegas strip.

Horrifying videos showed dozens of bullets being fired as festival-goers took cover. 

People can be heard shouting “get down” as others scream and flee. 

Flights in and out of the nearby McCarran Airport have been suspended.
