The first trailer for the sci-fi thriller promises a relentlessly exciting film – including an attention-grabbing sex scene.
Annihilation follows Portman on a risky mission to an environmental disaster zone in order to save her husband (Isaac).
The pair are seen rolling around in bed in a moment of passion, with Isaac – a favourite from the new Star Wars trilogy – seen shirtless.
But even aside from that brief moment, the film is set to be a nail-biting favourite amongst cinemagoers when it’s released early next year.
Also with Portman in the cast are Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson and Benedict Wong; with Alex Garland directing and writing.

“It’s always fun getting to visit a movie set as a tourist,” she told The Guardian.
“When you go and it’s your job and you go everyday, you get a little immune to how magical it is.
“To experience it as a tourist just makes it magic again.”
Annihilation is out on February 23, 2018.
