Manchester United cruised to a 4-1 win over CSKA Moscow to ensure they moved three points clear at the the top of Group A in the Champions League.
Martial put in an impressive display, scoring the Red Devils’ second goal from the penalty spot.
He also assisted all three of United’s other goals, with Lukaku scoring a brace and Henrikh Mkhitaryan finding the net too.
The 21-year-old has been used sparingly this season with the France international battling for the left-wing position with Marcus Rashford.
But despite being rewarded with a start in Russia, he was forced off the pitch after 72 minutes with Rashford replacing him.

However, Mourinho admitted he was that impressed with Martial’s performance that he was willing to keep him on the for the whole game.
“I think the game adapted to his qualities, the way we play adapted to his qualities too,” Mourinho said.
“He had a lot of freedom and lots of support and lots of quality around him too.
“OK, a goal is always important, even with a penalty.”
“His contribution was good, but he couldn’t play 90 minutes [having limped off after 72 minutes].
“I was ready to leave him on the pitch the whole game.”
