Alvaro Morata: My biggest question on Chelsea star is his temper – Gianfranco Zola

That’s the one question former Chelsea star Gianfranco Zola still wants answered.

Morata continued his incredible scoring form last night with a goal in Chelsea’s last-gasp win against Atletico Madrid.

Antoine Griezmann gave Atletico Madrid a first half lead from the penalty spot but Morata brought Chelsea level after latching on to Eden Hazard’s cross just before the hour mark with Michy Batshuayi scoring the winner in stoppage time.

Morata has now scored six goals in seven matches for the Blues, including a hat-trick in Saturday’s 4-0 win over Stoke.

The 24-year-old left Real Madrid in the summer to seek regular first-team football after struggling to break into the starting line-up under Zinedine Zidane.

Prior to his return to the Bernabeu, his two years at Juventus were also spent playing second fiddle to Gonzalo Higuain but is now the main striker at Chelsea.

However Zola wants to find out why the Spain international has never been a regular starter at his former clubs.

“My question is his temper,” Zola told Sky Sports’ The Debate show.

“He’s been with Juventus, been with Real Madrid. Big teams but he never played regularly.

“So i need to understand why and I think this season I’m going to get the answers.”
