Team Europe lead the Laver Cup 12-9 after a scintillating weekend of tennis.
Team World have clawed their way back into the tournament on Sunday with a win in the doubles match, while John Isner beat Rafael Nadal 7-5 7-6.
It means a win for Kyrgios against Federer would tie the tournament and force a final doubles showdown to decide the winner.
If it is 12-12 after 12 matches played then the doubles match will be a one-off single set.
Federer is the favourite to win this match but faces a pumped up Kyrgios in Prague.
