Ignore the Galaxy S8 – New images show just how good the Galaxy S9 may look

has another stellar year with the launch of its and Note 8 smartphones.

These devices are already winning awards with technology website, T3, recently giving the S8 the gong for best smartphone of the year.

Samsung has gone all out with its design in 2017 with both the S8 and Note 8 featuring curved displays that cover almost the entire from of the device.

Faster processors, improved cameras and facial/iris recognition have also been included on these latest phones.

The Galaxy Note 8 has even been upgraded with it now featuring a dual-lens camera which can add DSLR-style effects to your images.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

This new phablet has only just gone on sale but with the S8 now six months old attention is already turning to what Samsung might be launching next.

If Samsung follows its usual smartphone cycle, the Galaxy S9 could arrive in February 2018 and rumours are already growing about what might be included.

It’s likely Samsung will follow its all-screen design but a dual-lens camera, similar to that found on the Note 8, could also feature.

Samsung was thought to be getting close to cracking the technology that allows it to embed its fingerprint scanner under the display on the front of the phone.

So the S9 could finally see this vital scanner returning to where it belongs  – the current rear-mounted scanner is still one of the S8’s worst features.

With Samsung still basking in the glory in its current Galaxy S8, there’s no official word on when we might see an S9 but new renders from DBS Design may have given a glimpse of how it may look.

Posted on its website, the images reveal a phone with a display that features no bezels at all with the screen stretching to the very edge of the case.

The display is also not curved which is something many feel will improve the user experience.

Although this current curved design looks stunning, it doesn’t actually have any advantage over a standard, flat, display and can actually be quite distracting when viewing content.

Finally the renders reveal a dual camera on the rear case and there’s no sign of a fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone.

Clearly these are just concepts but if Samsung continues its current trend of pushing the boundaries of design and technology it could be an exciting year ahead.
