The driver decided to perform the dangerous manoeuvre in the middle of an empty crossroad.
With no other drivers on the road, they thought they would get away with driving recklessly.
But instant karma got the better of them.

It quickly became apparent the stopped car was a police car.
The driver was stopped in their tracks, and the camera filming from one of the other junctions zoomed in on the police car.
One of the policemen in the car looked directly at the driver and they then have no other choice but to stay put in their car awaiting possible punishment for driving dangerously.

There were two cars in front of the van, a black one in the same lane and a red one in the next lane over.
As the vehicles approached the set of lights, they changed from green to red.
This caused the two front cars to brake suddenly to a stop.
The driver of the van, travelling close behind the car in front, slammed on their brakes but it was too late.
