The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition has been selling out quick whenever pre-order stock has become available.
In the UK Tesco Direct, Game, Smyths Toys and ShopTo have all recently opened pre-orders for the SNES Classic Mini.
Those stores sold out of their SNES Classic Mini pre-order stock in minutes, as has been the trend for whenever pre-orders have become available.
In America, SNES Classic Mini pre-orders became available in August after a wait of almost two months.
Amazon US, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop and Target all opened SNES Classic Mini pre-orders but sold out of their allocation fast.

Import specialist Nin Nin Game are now taking pre-orders for the SNES Classic Mini – but it’s the Japanese version.
The console is priced at £113.51 which is more than the usual UK price of £69.99 or £79.99 for the SNES Classic Mini.
Seeing as Nin Nin are also an import specialist, you may have to pay a customs fee as well on top of the shipping rate.
And, of course, being a Japanese console the language displayed is Japanese.
However, for collectors this could be the ultimate purchase that gives them extra hipster points over those who get a regular SNES Classic Mini.
It also comes with a number of games that are NOT in the UK version of the SNES Classic Mini.
The SNES Classic Mini games list for UK includes the likes of Earthbound, Kirby’s Dream Course, Super Castlevania 4 and Super Punch-Out!!
But these games aren’t available in Japan, where they’ll be replaced by Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, The Legend of Mystical Ninja, Panel de Pon and Super Soccer.
Japanese fans also get Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers, which has more characters than European SNES Mini release Street Fighter 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting.
The SNES Classic Mini release date is fast approaching, with the pint-sized console coming out on September 29.
Nintendo have tried to reassure fans that plenty of stock will be available at launch, and that it won’t be affected by the same stock shortages the NES Classic Mini was.
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime recently said Nintendo had “dramatically increased” production for the SNES Classic Mini.
This comes after its predecessor, the NES Classic Mini, was discontinued earlier this year after regularly being sold out.
Reggie told gamers not to go onto auction sites, such as eBay, and pay above the RRP.
He said: “I would strongly urge you not to over-bid on an SNES Classic on any of the auction sites .”
Scalpers have been posting listings on eBay for the SNES Classic Mini at inflated prices as fans continue to scramble for pre-orders whenever stock becomes available.
One listing Express.co.uk saw for a SNES Classic Mini pre-order was priced at an eye-watering £300 – more than four times the amount the official Nintendo Store was selling the console for.
