Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to meet Melania Trump – despite Suits star SLATING Donald

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Melania Trump will all meet the Invictus Games this weekend, it has been revealed.

The First Lady, 47, is travelling from the US to Toronto without her husband Donald Trump, 72, to make an appearance at the event.

The solo escapade will be the Slovenian former-model’s first trip alone, without the president by her side. She will be officially meeting Prince Harry to talk about the Invictus Games – but there has been speculation saying his Suits star girlfriend Meghan will also be in attendance.

Vogue US said there had been rumours the US actress will join the meeting back in July – although nothing has been confirmed. They wrote: “Royal watchers are also speculating that Meghan Markle may accompany Harry to meet the First Lady—the Invictus Games are in Toronto, where Markle currently resides.”

The meeting is bound to be interesting, as Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan slammed Donald Trump before his election.

On May 4, 2016, Meghan said of Melania’s husband that his election would prompt her to leave the US, where she was born in LA, for good.

She said on the Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore: “It’s really the moment that I go, we film Suits in Toronto and I might just stay in Canada.

“I mean come on, if that’s reality we are talking about, come on, that is a game changer in terms of how we move in the world here.”

She also called Donald Trump divisive, especially for female voters, adding: “I think it was in 2012, the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points. That’s a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is and so vocal about it, that’s a huge chunk of it.”

It will be interesting to see how the pair get on at the Invictus Games, where Melania is officially representing the US.

The First Lady is likely to meet Prince Harry, 33, who founded the games in 2014. Melania has released a statement about attending the games.

It read:  “I was heartened by the great success of the inaugural Invictus Games that took place in London… and the second games in Orlando, Florida last year.

“In just two short years, the Invictus Games have allowed thousands of injured and wounded servicemen and women from many different countries to participate in adaptive sports competitions—something that should be lauded and supported worldwide.

“I am honoured by the opportunity to represent our country at this year’s games.”

Meghan Markle herself is an acquaintance of the Canadian Prime Minister and  leader of the Liberal Party Justin Trudeau.

She posed in a Vanity Fair photoshoot, that featured the actress alongside Emma Watson, Cher, Jérôme Jarre, Natalia Vodianova, President Mary Robinson, Nobel Laureates Kofi Annan and Muhammad Yunus, and Justin Trudeau.

The actress also posted an image of herself chatting away with Justin on her Instagram page.

No doubt the actress will be reunited with the Prime Minister at the games this weekend.
