Overwatch developer Blizzard is working on a fix for a new problem affecting two fan favourite heroes.
Since the release of the last update, Overwatch heroes Genji and Mercy have been hit by a new bug.
The bug prevents Genji and Mercy’s Ultimate voice lines from working when certain skins are equipped.
The problem is so severe that Blizzard has disabled the Oni Genji and Winged Victory Mercy skins.
A patch is in the works right now, but there’s currently no time frame for the PS4 and Xbox One update.

“We discovered an issue affecting two Legendary skins: Oni Genji and Winged Victory Mercy,” Blizzard explains.
“This bug prevents the heroes’ ultimate voice lines from functioning properly when these skins are equipped.”
PC owners can expect the update soon, but PS4 and Xbox One users might have to wait a little longer.
“Due to the impact of this issue, we’ve temporarily disabled the affected skins and restored the default skin for any players who had Oni or Winged Victory equipped,” the post continues.
“We’re working to remedy the situation quickly, but the fix will require a follow up patch in the coming days.
“For PC players, this patch will mostly likely be released this week, but we don’t currently have an ETA for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One patches. We will provide updates as they become available.”
The issues cropped up after the release of the Junkertown map earlier this week.
“Junkertown is an Escort map located in the harsh and unforgiving Australian Outback,” the official description explains.
“Constructed from the remains of a destroyed omnium, it’s now the home to a band of lawless scavengers known as the Junkers, led by their cutthroat Queen.
“When they aren’t pillaging the omnium’s skeleton for anything of value, the Junkers blow off steam in the Scrapyard—a massive gladiatorial arena whose combatants fight for glory, riches…and to survive.”
