North Korea funds its evil nuclear programme via dealings with foreign companies and individuals and the USA today announced it was cracking down on such arrangements.
Donald Trump announced a powerful new executive order allowing America to introduce tough sanctions on anyone dealing with North Korea.
He he would be discussing the move with Japan and South Korea in an attempt to enforce a blanket ban ion those doing business with North Korea.
Mr Trump said: “Our new executive order will cut off sources of revenue that fund North Korea’s efforts to develop the deadliest weapons known to humankind.”
He said North Korea’s textiles, fishing, information technology, and manufacturing industries were among those the United States could target.
Mr Trump said earlier today: “We will be putting more sanctions on North Korea.
“I think we’re making a lot of progress in a lot of ways.

And Donald Trump also revealed China, historically one of North Korea’s closest allies, has ordered its banks to stop working with the rogue state.
Mr Trump welcomed this move as “bold” and “unexpected”.
But the US president said an amicable resolution was still possible with North Korea.
When asked whether dialogue was still possible he responded: “Why not?”
