Bose QC35 wireless Bluetooth headphones can now do something its rivals can’t

The Bose QC35s were some of the best Bluetooth headphones of 2016 and now they’ve just had a major update.

These latest noise-cancelling cans now feature Google’s Assistant which is a first integration of this voice-activated service in a headphone.

Google Assistant allows you to search the web, play music and find useful information via the power of your voice.

With Google’s incredible depth of knowledge it can also answer questions so you can check a score, the latest headlines, whether your flight is on time, what films are showing locally – and more.

Bose says that a simple tap on the Action button on the side of the headphones will spring this clever virtual assistant into life.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

“The QC35 is already the world’s most celebrated wireless headphone, and a survival tool for modern life,” said Brian Maguire, director, Bose on-the-go products.

“We didn’t change anything that people already love – with the Google Assistant built in, and new choices for what you hear, we made it better.”

Along with Google Assistant the new QC35s now allow users to control the strength of the noise cancellation.

Last year’s headphones also feature this blocking technology but this updated version lets you choose to keep it on (high), turn it down (low), or disable it completely (off) via the Connect app.

This is useful if you want to be able to hear what’s going on around you at certain times during the day.

The app also lets you change the Action button’s functionality, so you can control the noise settings from the earcup when you want, and switch back to your Google Assistant when you want.

Like the original QC35s there’s also a 20-hour battery life and a design which allows to be folded and placed in travel case.

Controls on the earcup also saves having to reach for your phone each time you want to change tracks or adjust the volume.

The QC35 II noise cancelling headphones come in black and silver, both available now and their price remains at £329.95.
