Destiny 2 Raid update: Levithan changes revealed following PS4 and Xbox One reset

While the new Destiny 2 Raid won’t be going away, Bungie will be changing things included in it on a weekly basis.

This is done through the Destiny 2 Reset, which occurs every Tuesday, refreshing the endgame activities currently available on PS4 and Xbox One.

One of the biggest changes fans will notice is that all Destiny 2 Raid Keys are removed during the Weekly Reset.

These will need to be earned back each week, in a Destiny 2 Raid which will also have moved around a little bit.

It appears that Bungie have moved around the three trials that need to be completed before the last boss, Calus.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

So for this week, the order of trials goes like this: the Pleasure Gardens, the Gauntlet, and the Royal Pools.

As you might expect, the actual strategies needed to complete the Leviathan Raid have not changed and it looks like Calus will always remain the final boss to defeat.

If you also check the Bungie website, it lists the Destiny 2 Levithan Raid challenges which fans need to face:

These include:

  • The Proving – Complete every trial Calus has set before you.
  • The Labyrinth – Loot 3 of Calus’s gifts in the underbelly of the Leviathan.

The next big Destiny 2 Raid update will come in the form of the full Guided Games launch later this month.

This will occur on September 26, and allow Guardians to form up with Clans to tackle the game’s hardest challenges.

And Raids aren’t the only thing that gets tweaked each week by Bungie, there’s also a new Nightfall Strike to complete, as well as a new Flashpoint event.

Nightfall Strikes are end game versions of regular Vanguard Strikes. In a Nightfall Strike, players will have to contend with special modifiers which enhance the difficulty of this Strike activity.

This week’s Nightfall Strike is called Exodus Crash, where players must purge the Fallen infestation of the Exodus Black.

This week’s challenges, as confirmed by Bungie:

Challenges

  • Speed Of Dark – Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
  • Unbroken – Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
  • Faster Than Lightning – As a fireteam, defeat 9 Shanks with melee attacks before defeating Thaviks.

This week’s Flashpoint event is on Titan, where players will be able to earn extra loot by participating.
