Barcelona splashed out a huge £96million to sign Dembele from German giants Borussia Dortmund this summer after losing Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain.
And while he impressed on his debut, his poor performance in the Champions League against Juventus in midweek has prompted cause for concern.
Ernesto Valverde, however, is supposedly aware of how the France international is struggling at Barcelona.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon claims the Barcelona manager has come up with a plan to help get the 20-year-old firing again.
It is said that he plans on using Sergi Roberto more to give Dembele time to settle.

The Spain international was a regular last term, playing at right-back after the club allowed stalwart Dani Alves to join Juventus.
But Don Balon say Valverde plans to tinker with his position and instead deploy him further up the pitch.
He is supposedly a huge fan of Roberto, who has become an important first-team asset under former manager Luis Enrique after initially struggling for game time.
Dembele is reportedly optimistic he can be a Barcelona hit yet knows he must be patient if he is to transform into a player as good as Neymar.
Speaking after signing the Frenchman last month, Valverde tipped him to be a huge asset for the team.
“Dembele gives us width, something we lost and we needed,” the Barca boss said.
“He can play on the left or the right, or even through the middle, he is quick and he is technically good.
“We hope he’s going to add a lot to the team. We’re really excited to have him.
“[His rise] has been impressive. A couple of years ago he was hardly known by anyone, but he’s a player with a lot of quality.
“Barca have been following him for a while, like other teams, and last year [with Dortmund] he proved he’s a top-level player. We have a lot of hope deposited in him.”
