But for those who are unable to secure a pre-order ahead of launch day, Nintendo have issued some great SNES Classic Mini stock news.

IGN reported on the latest comments from Nintendo on SNES Classic Mini stock and availability.

Ninty revealed that they will now be shipping the SNES Classic Mini into 2018, whereas they had previously planned to cancel it at the end of 2017.

But most interestingly, Nintendo revealed how much SNES Classic Mini stock will be available at launch day.

Nintendo said on launch day in the US there will be more SNES Classic Mini stock that the NES Classic Mini had in the entire of last year.

They added that there will be “subsequent shipments arriving in stores regularly.”

This will surely be music to fans ears, and hopefully means there will be plenty of stock for gamers hoping to get a SNES Classic Mini on launch day.

Also, if that much stock will be available in the US on launch day, then it hopefully bodes well for stock availability in other regions.

The news comes after Nintendo revealed some big SNES Classic Mini and NES Classic Mini news.

Nintendo of Europe on Wednesday told Twitter followers that the SNES Classic Mini would continue to be sold in 2018.

“We’re happy to confirm that we’ll continue to ship stock of #SNESmini to Europe in 2018,” the company tweeted.

That’s despite earlier claims that the console would be discontinued at the end of the year.

They also revealed the Nintendo Classic Mini NES would return next year.

Nintendo added: ”We’ll also bring the Nintendo Classic Mini: NES back to Europe next summer.”

Nintendo confirmed that more information would be shared at a later date.

The NES Classic Mini was discontinued earlier this year after experiencing widespread stock shortages across the globe.

The SNES Classic Mini release date is fast-approaching, with the miniature console finally being available to buy on September 29.

It comes loaded with 21 classic 16-Bit games that will be playable in glorious HD and is bundled with two controllers for multiplayer gaming straight out of the box.

The SNES Classic Mini costs $79.99 in the US and either £69.99 or £79.99 in the UK.
